Many of us have had blood tests when we are sick, organised by our GP. But why do we wait until we are sick to examine the health of our blood? The many bio-markers in our blood can tell us so much about our health and sometimes predict problems before they become clinically of concern. Blood testing is a ‘window into our health’ so why don’t we embrace this more than we do currently?
