Most of us would like to live for a long time, but not if those latter years are in poor health. This is the difference between ‘lifespan’ and ‘healthspan’. Your longevity is partially influenced by your genetics, BUT it is also influenced by other aspects including what you eat, your diet , your exercise regime, sleep quality and also stress. All of these have huge effects on our health and therefore our healthspan too.
