Our brain weighs 1.5kg and makes up just 2% of our body weight, but uses 20% of our entire energy needs! Caring for our brain is so important, especially as we get older. There is so much we can do to maintain our brains in good condition such as regular physical exercise, eating well and also exercising our brains to learn new things. Our brains are very high in specialised fats and we need to replete these daily. These include fish and krill oil derived omega 3’s such as DHA and EPA.
