Fats

Like carbs and sugars, fats too, is a term which comprises a very long list of both healthy and unhealthy types of fats.

Over the last fifteen years, fats have been demonised as very unhealthy, but recent science shows that fats (even saturated) are not as ‘bad’ as previously thought. Many fats are in fact required for health, so low fat diets can be unhealthy, due to the higher sugar content that manufacturers put into their products to make up for the lack of taste.
